About the role
This position is for recent graduates of Medical Imaging (4‐year) university degrees. New graduates will gain experience in adult and paediatric general and emergency radiography, operating theatre, mobile radiography, and fluoroscopy (including Catheter Laboratory). Graduates will also have the opportunity to observe other imaging modalities and radiology support systems.
Roles and responsibilities
Provide high quality, efficient patient‐centred radiographic imaging services, manage patients in medical imaging, and communicate effectively with the inter‐professional team to achieve the best outcomes.
Requirements
* Hold a tertiary qualification specific to medical imaging.
* Hold current registration with MRPBA (AHPRA). Eligible for HP1 undergraduate radiographer position until AHPRA registration is presented.
* Demonstrated ability to provide high quality, efficient patient‐centred imaging and management of patients.
* Demonstrated ability to use good quality verbal and written communication to work co‐operatively within the inter‐professional team.
* Understanding of Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
* Probation period may apply.
* Relocation expense reimbursement up to $2,000 for a 12‐month temporary contract upon presentation of tax receipts.
Benefits and salary
* Salary range: $79,051 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%–17.5% loading.
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
* Salary‐sacrificing options may be available.
