As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives, strengthen market presence, and drive commercial opportunities across the organisation's service divisions.
About the Role
This senior strategic role is responsible for driving business growth through market expansion, partnership development, strategic client acquisition, and implementation of commercial growth initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and direct strategic business development initiatives to support organisational growth and expand market share across all service divisions
* Identify, evaluate, and pursue current market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to support business expansion
* Formulate and implement business development strategies, growth plans, and revenue targets aligned with organisational objectives
* Establish and maintain strategic commercial relationships with employers, education providers, referral partners, and key stakeholders
* Lead negotiations of commercial agreements, partnership arrangements, and service proposals with prospective clients and partners
* Analyse market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer demand to identify emerging opportunities and inform strategic planning
* Monitor business development pipeline performance, conversion metrics, and revenue outcomes, and prepare strategic performance reports and forecasts for management
* Collaborate with senior management to develop pricing, market positioning, and service expansion strategies
* Represent the organisation at industry events, networking functions, and stakeholder meetings to promote services and strengthen market presence
* Contribute to long‐term strategic planning and commercial growth initiatives to support organisational objectives
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 3 years' demonstrated experience in business development, strategic sales, or commercial growth leadership roles
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful business growth and market expansion strategies
* Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to identify and convert strategic opportunities into revenue outcomes
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and relationship management skills
* Strong analytical, forecasting, and strategic planning capabilities
* Experience within recruitment, migration, education, hospitality, or professional services sectors will be highly regarded
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
