An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Midwife Specialist to join the Midwifery team at Carnarvon District Hospital - Midwest.

To be successful, you will have:
* Demonstrated significant knowledge, experience and leadership in area of Clinical Midwifery.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a collegiate team situation, using effective interpersonal, communicate and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated people management abilities commensurate with the role.
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of quality improvement initiative using research principles to support evidence-based practise, including development of policies and guidelines.
Position Profile
Demonstrates leadership and role modelling in the care of pregnant women seeking pregnancy, birthing, and postnatal care within the community and Family Birth Centre (MGP). Responsible for the delivery of the quality women's centred care, developing standards of practise, implementing changes to clinical practice and initiating research and quality improvement activities. Provides a consultative service within area of expertise to customers within the hospital.
