We are looking for a dependable and skilled Second Class Welder to join our workshop team in a casual position offering full time hours. Our company specialises in creating custom outdoor living products primarily patios, made primarily from galvanised steel and other metals.
In this role, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating steel components to precise specifications using MIG welding techniques. You will work closely with the fabrication team to assemble parts, ensure quality workmanship, and meet production deadlines.
Key duties include interpreting welding drawings, preparing materials, maintaining welding equipment, and adhering to safety standards at all times. You will also assist with general workshop duties such as cleaning, material handling, and inventory management.
We are seeking someone with a strong eye for detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team. Previous workshop welding experience, particularly in MIG welding and steel fabrication, is essential.
