About the role:

As the Manager - Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC), you will provide overall leadership and operational direction for a 24x7 security operations capability.

You will be responsible for ensuring the effective coordination of threat detection, incident response, and cyber investigations, while driving the maturity and performance of the CSOC. This is a highly visible leadership role, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure cyber operations align with organisational priorities, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.

You will operate as the senior escalation point for major cyber incidents, providing coordination and decision support, and leading continuous improvement across people, process, and technology.

Key responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the end-to-end operation of the CSOC, ensuring effective, coordinated security monitoring and response across all environments
* Establish and evolve the CSOC operating model, including processes, escalation pathways, and performance frameworks
* Oversee service performance, including incident response effectiveness, operational metrics, and maturity uplift initiatives
* Provide leadership to CSOC teams and leaders, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment
* Act as the senior escalation point for major or high-impact cyber incidents, driving coordination and communication
* Ensure alignment and coordination across threat response, threat hunting, and incident response (CSIRT) functions
About you:
* Proven experience leading or managing cyber security operations (SOC/CSOC) in a complex enterprise environment
* Strong understanding of threat detection, incident response, investigations, and cyber defence operations
* Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and operate in a 24x7 environment
* Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and cyber defence frameworks
* Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, threat intelligence, and modern security operations tooling
* Ability to provide executive-level support during major cyber incidents, focusing on coordination and decision-making
