About our school : Tacking Point Public School is a comprehensive K-6 Primary School located in the beautiful Lighthouse Beach area of Port Macquarie. The school was established in 1996, with a current enrolment of 600 students in 23 classes with a Supported Learning class to begin in 2026.

About the Role : Tacking Point Public School is seeking an experienced, dedicated and caring School Learning Support Officer (SLSO) to provide support within our Kindergarten Multi-Categorical class.
Essential Requirements :
- Working with Children Check Clearance
- Completion of mandatory training required by the Department of Education and a willingness to undertake first aid training relevant to the School Learning Support Officer role.
- Administration of Medications – training to be provided based on student needs.
- Health support training to be provided based on student needs (subject to transition provisions).
