About the role
You will perform duties as a Warehouse Operator in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing orders, receipting incoming stock such as finished goods and dry goods. This role involves shift work with various shifts such as day, night, and afternoon.
Your Key Accountabilities
* Work independently and as part of the warehouse team
* Break down and re-pack pallets of product correctly
* Follow warehouse procedures and documentation
* Operate a forklift and dispatch stock
* Communicate effectively with warehouse and transport personnel
* Maintain warehouse housekeeping
* Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accurate records
Your Knowledge and Skills
* Problem solving and time management
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Interpersonal skills and self-motivation
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team
Essential Qualifications
* Current forklift license
* At least 6 months of experience in a similar environment
* Completion of AQF2 certificate in Food Processing (Wine) relevant to a Grade 2 Storeperson
