An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and adaptable Social worker to join our team at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre in a full time capacity.
This grade 1 Social Work position involves working collaboratively within an established multidisciplinary team, including a group of endorsed and experienced Social Workers. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and enjoy working with in a multidisciplinary team environment.
As a Social Worker your responsibilities will include:
- Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment, timely intervention and contribute towards the holistic discharge planning of patients within a rehabilitation setting
- Display exceptional time management and a high degree of flexibility
- Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team across both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs
- Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives

The centre offers a friendly and supportive staff setting, with our established multidisciplinary team servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.
Selection Criteria:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work
- Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Experience working in a rehabilitation or hospital setting desirable
