Pay point 3.3A $121,135 + 5 weeks annual leave plus 17.5% annual leave loading

Cape York Natural Resource Management (Cape York NRM) is anot-for-profit organisation and registered charity committed to while promoting sustainable use of its natural resources.
We collaborate with individuals, groups, and communities across Cape York to implement activities that align with our mission, priorities, and values. Guided by community engagement, Cape York NRM delivers initiatives rooted in sustainable development, capacity building, project implementation, and regional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic HR and workforce advice to the CEO and Leadership Team.
Lead staff engagement, wellbeing, and organisational culture initiatives.
Support managers with recruitment processes and role design.
Assist managers in managing employee grievances, investigations, disciplinary matters, and performance management.
Identify opportunities to improve organisational systems, practices, and workforce effectiveness.
Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and Board reporting requirements.
Key requirements
Demonstrated experience in a senior Human Resources position, People & Culture, WHS, or organisational leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, communities, and organisation.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business, Workplace Health and Safety.
Mandatory Requirements
· Current Australian Class C Driver's Licence.
· Ability to undertake occasional travel, including remote area travel.
· Current National Police Check or ability to obtain.
· Current Blue Card or ability to obtain.
· Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or ability to obtain.
