Financial Leadership Opportunity
Our organisation is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial future and safeguarding our organisation through robust financial management and enterprise-wide risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the organisation's financial strategy, leading comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Lead the development and oversee continuous improvement of our entire Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
* Ensure adherence to Australian accounting standards, taxation laws, corporate governance principles, and relevant industry-specific regulations.
* Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset registers.
* Provide commercial insights to drive operational efficiency, cost reduction, and investment revenue enhancement.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, championing a positive work environment that embodies values of integrity, compassion, innovation, and optimism.
Requirements
* Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant qualification.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, with a proven track record of achievement in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a complex environment.
* Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax laws.
* Expertise with MS Suite and financial software systems with ability to learn new systems.
* Police Check and Vulnerable Persons Check required upon offer.
