What You'll Do
* Review drawings and specs
* Prepare detailed take-offs and cost estimates
* Source and compare supplier quotes
* Prepare and submit tenders
* Identify risks and value engineering options
* Work closely with engineers and project managers
* Maintain rate libraries and cost databases
* Present and review estimates with the team
* Support handover to project delivery
Required skills
* Experience in estimating mechanical or structural projects
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Knowledge of fabrication, welding, and installation
* Proficient in take-offs, costing, and estimating
