The opportunity:
We're seeking an experienced Performance, Reward & Reporting Manager to join our Talent, Reward & People Services team. This is a pivotal role overseeing the Performance, Reward and Reporting & People Analytics capability at Wesfarmers Health, ensuring effective management of annual performance and remuneration activities, compliance excellence, support team member benefits & recognition and the delivery of accurate, timely reporting.
Reporting to the Head of Talent, Reward & People Services, you'll lead a small team including a Remuneration & Reporting Lead and offshore analytics resources, while partnering with senior leaders across the business to drive strategic people outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Reward: Oversee development and implementation of annual remuneration cyclical activities, own reward policies and frameworks, ensuring legislative and Wesfarmers policy alignment, provide data-driven remuneration recommendations supporting talent attractio, retention and engagement in addition to managing incentive programs.
- Performance: Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the annual performance management cycle
- Reporting & Analytics: Oversee delivery of high-quality, accurate reporting to key stakeholders, by collaborating with Payroll, Systems and Finance teams to streamline processes and automate reporting. Lead a continuous improvement agenda to dashboard and enhance analytics capability
- Benefits & Recognition: Own team benefits programs including the Team Member Discount Card (TMDC), Employee Share Acquisition Plan (WESAP) and our recognition program (Better Because of You).
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure accurate and timely compliance with Superannuation Guarantee, WGEA reporting, Awards, EBAs and Wesfarmers requirements.
What You'll Bring:
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business or Human Resources (preferred)
- Minimum 10 years' experience in remuneration and reporting; People Operations experience ideal but not mandatory
- Deep technical knowledge of remuneration frameworks, compliance (Awards, WGEA, Superannuation), market benchmarking and job evaluation (ideally Hays)
- Proven experience leading annual remuneration and performance cycles
- Advanced Excel and HRIS reporting capability (SuccessFactors experience desirable)
Key Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with ability to turn large data into actionable insights
- Working knowledge of applicable Industrial Agreements and award interpretation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior level
- Solutions focused with a continuous improvement mindset
- Proactive, collaborative self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Experience leading offshore or remote team’s desirable
- Proven interest/experience using Generative AI
