Experienced Registered Nurse at Chinchilla Hospital
Chinchilla Hospital is seeking anexperienced Registered Nursefor a short-term contract from20th January to 2nd February 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment while making a positive impact on patient care in a rural setting.
Key Responsibilities :
* Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across various departments.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
* Perform triage and prioritize patient needs effectively.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Lead and supervise nursing staff during night shifts, taking charge of the unit as required.
* Execute advanced nursing procedures, including cannulation and venepuncture.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.
Key Requirements :
* Flexibility to work across all shifts, including taking charge as RN on night shifts.
* Competence in triage and Advanced Life Support (ALS).
* Proficiency in cannulation and venepuncture.
* Previous experience in rural or remote healthcaresettings.
