Disability Support Worker – Community & In-Home Support
Are you passionate about making a real difference in someone's life? Aroha Services is expanding our NDIS support team, and we're looking for dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality support to participants across Perth.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker with Aroha Services, you will support NDIS participants to live safely, independently, and with dignity. Your duties may include:
* Providing community access and social support
* Assisting with personal care and domestic tasks
* Supporting participants with daily living skills
* Transporting participants to appointments and activities
* Implementing individual support plans
* Maintaining accurate notes and documentation
What We're Looking For
* Experience in disability, aged care or community support
* Compassionate, patient and able to build rapport
* Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
* Reliable, punctual and committed to high-quality care
Mandatory Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services
* Minimum 6–12 months experience working with NDIS participants
* National Police Check
* WA Working With Children Check
* First Aid & CPR (CPR within 12 months)
* Manual Handling Certificate
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* Valid Australian driver's licence, reliable vehicle, car insurance (if transporting participants)
