About the Role
Community Support Specialist provides trauma-informed support to individuals and families affected by crime, critical incidents, and safety risks. This role involves working closely with security teams and community agencies to enhance client wellbeing and public safety outcomes.
* Conduct in-depth client assessments in office and community settings to identify their needs.
* Deliver post-incident emotional and practical support to victims of crime, domestic violence, or trauma, while collaborating with Case workers and family members.
* Support case management, develop personalized support plans, and coordinate services with relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish connections with social workers and healthcare providers to ensure seamless referrals and interventions when necessary.
* Link clients with essential community resources, including personal safety devices, duress alarms, CCTV systems, and alarm support.
* Promote client rights within the justice and social care systems, focusing on safety and wellbeing.
