Senior Medical Officer – General Practice, Occupational Health
Location: Outback Queensland – Gulf Country region (remote town). Start date: 18/10/2024 (ongoing).
Shift Schedule:
* Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00‐5:00
* Tuesday, Thursday: 10:00‐7:00
* Saturday: 8:00‐11:00 (for 6 Jan–31 Mar 2025)
Minimum rostered hours: 40 per week (with roster agreed with practice manager).
Compensation:
* Standard: $250 + GST per hour or 70% + GST of billings, whichever is greater in the billing period.
* 6 Jan–31 Mar 2025: $280 + GST per hour or 70% + GST of billings, whichever is greater.
Accommodation & Travel:
* Accommodation provided in a 2‐storey, 4‐bedroom house with a pool; if unable to use SHP lodgings, $150 per night allowance.
* Flights booked by agency at lowest fare applicable.
* Car hire per day booked by agency.
Qualifications:
* Occupational Medicine Registrar or Specialist.
* Specific qualifications: QLD Coal, MMQ, Rail, AMSA, Injury Management.
