About Kids' Early Learning
Here at Council, we own and operate a childcare business, Kids’ Early Learning, with a portfolio of 31 childcare centres and over 40 family daycare educators. Kids’ Early Learning has approximately 300 full‑time, part‑time and casual staff and operates throughout the Blacktown local government area, serving over 2000 families and providing care and learning needs for their children.
About the Chance
Become a valued member of our compassionate Kids' Early Learning team, dedicated to providing a nurturing space for children to learn and thrive. We are currently seeking enthusiastic Child Care Assistants to join us on a casual basis to create positive and memorable experiences for the children in our care.
This position is responsible for assisting qualified staff to provide an appropriate and stimulating program of care and education, and to ensure the safety and well‑being of the children.
Essential
- Experience in the Early Childhood field
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent recognised by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Completion of Child Protection Course – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm
- Current certificate HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Current certificate HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training certificate that meets requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulation 2018
- Working with Children Check clearance valid for paid work
Desirable
- Current class C driver's licence
- Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
Remuneration and Benefits
- Entry level for this position starts at $ per hour plus 25% casual loading
