Territory Sales Manager – Southern Region (VIC / SA / TAS)
We are partnering with a well established Australian owned business that has been supplying industrial weighing equipment, compliance solutions, software platforms and field services to customers across Australia for decades.
Due to continued growth, the business is investing heavily in its commercial team and is looking for a driven Territory Sales Manager to take ownership of the Southern Region, covering Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
This is a genuine territory management role combining account management, solution selling and new business development. You will inherit an established customer base while also being tasked with identifying new opportunities across industries including construction, logistics, manufacturing, transport, waste, medical, food production and heavy industry.
This role is ideal for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys field-based relationship management, consultative selling and uncovering growth opportunities within complex operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow an established customer portfolio across the territory
* Drive new business opportunities through outbound activity, networking and referrals
* Conduct customer site visits and operational assessments
* Sell integrated solutions across equipment, servicing and software platforms
* Prepare proposals, pricing and commercial agreements
* Work closely with technical and service teams to deliver customer outcomes
* Maintain strong pipeline management and forecasting through CRM systems
* Attend industry events and maintain a strong market presence
Ideal Background
* Territory sales, field sales or account management experience within industrial, technical or operational environments
* Experience selling into sectors such as construction, civil, logistics, transport, manufacturing, waste, infrastructure or food production
* Proven ability to manage existing accounts while developing new business
* Strong relationship building capability with operational and technical stakeholders
* Experience working autonomously across a geographic territory
* Commercially driven with strong pipeline and CRM discipline
Highly Regarded
* Industrial equipment, technical services or capital equipment sales experience
* Experience selling service contracts, maintenance agreements or recurring revenue solutions
* Experience working with engineers, plant managers, operations teams or compliance stakeholders
* Existing relationships within industrial, logistics, civil, construction or manufacturing sectors
