About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Restoration Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with water damage restoration, mould remediation, structural drying, and general make-safe works for residential and commercial properties. This is a great prospect for someone who enjoys practical work, problem solving, and helping customers during stressful situations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Attend water, mould, fire and storm damage jobs.
- Conduct moisture inspections using meters and thermal imaging.
- Extract water and install drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, AFDs).
- Build containment and dust-control systems.
- Remove damaged building materials (plaster, insulation, carpet, underlay).
- Move/protect contents during works.
- Complete job documentation, photos and moisture logs using job management software.
- Follow all safety procedures, JSAs and Work Access Permits.
- Participate in after-hours and emergency call-outs on rotation (If needed).
About You
- Experience in restoration, construction or cleaning (preferred but not essential).
- Comfortable using restoration equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift equipment/materials.
- Current driver’s licence.
- White Card and police clearance, or willingness to obtain.
