It supports its team through mentoring and personal development plans. As a Senior Structural Engineer you will work in a pod comprising peers, Structural Engineers and Structural Draftspersons.
About The Role
Due to sustained growth we are seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer looking to take the next step in their career.
We are looking for someone who is a good communicator, presentable and non-confrontational. This could be someone currently looking for a wider variety or projects to work on.
You will work on projects from concept to completion. As a Senior Structural Engineer you will take ownership of projects, run jobs from start to finish and work with and mentor a team of Structural Engineers and Draftspersons.
About The Candidate
Ideally you will have:
* Around 6 years of Structural Design Engineering experience, ideally with a significant amount of this locally
* The client is keen to secure someone who has worked continually with an Engineering Consultancy for a good period, not changing jobs every year
* A passion for learning, someone looking for solutions to problems, a proactive professional
* We are looking for someone with client facing skills with experience gained working with a range of builders and architects.
* Degree qualified
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
* Demonstrated understanding of Engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures and construction techniques
