About The Role
A great part-time (3 days a week) fixed term opportunity exists for a District Support Officer to join District 16, a positive, supportive and close-knit team based in Ararat. You will ensure the District / Regional office is managed in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring appropriate prioritisation of tasks.
* Provision of administrative support
* Manage the delivery of projects
* Preparation of documents that may include letters, memos, presentations, reports, minutes and briefing notes
* Minute taking, diary management and meeting coordination
* Provide support at meetings including organising and scheduling, agenda preparation, venue and catering requirements
* Data entry
* Records administration
* Database and systems coordination
* Customer service both internally and externally
* General office support
* On occasion be prepared to participate in Incident Management support roles appropriate to experience and qualifications
This is a fantastic opportunity and would suit an all-rounder who enjoys a variety of duties whilst providing exceptional customer service. Attention to detail and a can‐do attitude are important as is teamwork and commitment.
About You
* Demonstrated relevant years of experience in administration or business support within a large, complex organisation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong and cooperative relationship with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
* Superior organisational and time-management skills with an ability to manage and coordinate a range of office functions and projects, often complex in nature
* Ability to work proactively, with minimal supervision and direction
* Ability to work as a member of a team and support others where required
* Ability to source and interpret information to develop professional documents and reports
* Exceptional computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office
