Teacher – Music & Performing Arts

Required Skills and Qualifications
Skills
* Aptitude and/or experience of coaching and/or tutoring and/or teaching
* Ability to effectively engage and manage groups of students
* Strong written and verbal communication with a diverse range of colleagues, students and stakeholders
* Proficiency with information technology and ICT systems
* Capability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks to deadlines
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Consistently provide responsive and professional customer service
Education
* English and maths GCSE grade C/4 or above, or equivalent, plus willingness to obtain if required
* Academic qualification relevant to the subject specialism
* Qualified Teacher (PGCE, CertEd or Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
For industry specialists or entry‐level teachers: qualifications and/or equivalent experience at Level 3 in a relevant subject/discipline, with a requirement to undertake the teaching qualification (sponsored by the College).
