About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Member Relations Officer to join our fantastic team at Wanneroo Aquamotion and Kingsway Indoor Stadium. The role is accountable for coordinating the lead generation of member enquiries, providing exceptional customer service, overseeing member administration and driving sales conversions. An additional bonus would be an ability to create social media content to enhance outreach and engagement with potential and existing members.
Under the guidance of the Health and Fitness Team Leader the successful appointee will be responsible for the following:
* Building positive relationships with customers by providing membership support including handling of sales enquiries, tours of facilities and identifying sales opportunities to maximise exposure and revenue generation,
* Developing sales and retention initiatives in collaboration with Team Leaders to target new customers and retain current members,
* Achieving monthly set sales targets and KPIs associated with memberships and business growth and development,
* Working with the Team Leaders to assist with motivation of teams to achieve sales targets and membership growth,
* Helping with content creation for the Sub Unit's social media channels to effectively communicate with the audience, increase brand awareness and drive engagement,
* Providing accurate and timely administrative support services, including (but not limited to) customer memberships, creating, compiling and distributing documents and reports as well as the collation of data to assist the smooth operation of the Sub Unit.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative team member who is adaptable and highly organised. The successful applicant will have experience with the Recreation industry. They must thrive working in a very busy and change driven organisation. Applicants must be able to demonstrate their suitability through their resume and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:
* Intermediate written and verbal communication skills,
* Experience in a sales and promotions role preferably within a fitness or leisure centre environment,
* Developed lead generation understanding and a motivation to drive membership sales,
* Ability to work approximately 10+ hours per week until July 2026 minimum. The roster will be determined based on peak periods that may vary throughout the week and seasons. Work may be needed on weekends. Applicants are asked to outline their availability (including any restrictions) in their cover letter.
* Desired but not required: Experience with social media content creation to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
