Respiratory Medicine
Respiratory Medicine offers a comprehensive spectrum of expertise in Australia, covering clinical and basic allergy and advanced adult lung diseases, including severe asthma, emphysema, interstitial lung diseases, sleep apnoea, cystic fibrosis and lung transplantation.
It comprises four Clinical Services, supported by the Bronchoscopy Service and the Physiology Service (including the Lung Function Laboratory).
1. Cystic Fibrosis Service
2. General Respiratory & Sleep Medicine Service
3. Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology Service
The Role
The Personal Assistant provides administrative and secretarial support to the Professor Director of Respiratory. Responsibilities include managing enquiries, diary management, coordinating meetings, and assisting with other duties as directed.
Skills
* Relevant executive-level experience with proven ability to provide comprehensive administrative support, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research.
* Ability to develop and maintain administrative systems and procedures.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior staff and community members, and handle sensitive information discreetly.
* Initiative and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Experience in investigations and in preparing and updating documents and databases.
