Northern Star Resources is currently seeking a Survey Technician to join our team at Thunderbox Operations. This role offers a strong, long-term career opportunity within our Technical Services function.
Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, the position operates on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, FIFO from Perth.

Key Responsibilities
* Drill & blast ring markups
* Stope Drone and CMS surveys
* Mine heading design and pickup surveys
* All the associated software processing with the above-mentioned tasks
* Maintain the Survey Vehicles – daily prestart & washing of vehicles
* Maintain the Survey Stores area
* Maintain and Clean Survey Equipment
Requirements
* Experience using CAD software or exposure to mining environments (desirable)
* Experience working in high‐risk environments around heavy machinery (desirable)
* Methodical and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
* Ability to identify errors and problem‐solve effectively
* Hardworking and able to work well in a team environment
* Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Quick to learn new software systems
* Enjoys a balance between office‐based work and hands‐on, field‐based tasks
Qualifications
* Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying (or willingness to work towards)
* Current C Class Manual Drivers Licence
