The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, community initiatives and regional services reform.

Best practice standards are defined through the Carers + Employers program, creating a carer‐friendly workplace that enables staff to balance work and care while contributing to the wellbeing of individuals, families and the community.

Opportunity

As a Project Manager you will undertake the strategic and operational management of one or more of the Division's Priority Initiatives, leading business improvement and transformational programmes. You will develop strategic stakeholder engagement and collaboration strategies at the local, state and national level, supporting pathways to individual, family and community wellbeing.

A permanent position is available for immediate filling. The role will lead the development, integration and implementation of models used to inform the cost and demand for Child Protection and Family Support related services. Stakeholders include the service delivery executive, People & Culture, Finance and Data Office, and the State Government's Department of Treasury and Finance.

High‐level interpersonal communication skills demonstrating the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at a strategic level are key to this role.
