Kerman Contracting is seeking experienced Deputy Site Managers to deliver Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) projects for a Tier 1 client. This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster, offering a fixed-term contract with strong potential for extension.
As a Deputy Site Manager, you will report to the Site Manager /Project Manager and play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of NPI projects. You will lead the on-site team, work closely with the client, and maintain a high standard of safety, quality, and performance across the project lifecycle.
You will be personable and responsible for maintaining a positive team environment on site.

Roles, Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Deputy Site Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with the day-to-day running of the project site, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, according to specification and schedule, and within budget. The position will also oversee and manage the on-site team, including all on-site activities' functions and disciplines
* Ensuring project completion following safety, environmental, time, quality, cost, and HR measures
* Overseeing construction program, including compiling subcontracts, supply agreements, and purchase orders
* Managing on-site construction works and coordinate with all site project staff and sub-contractors
* Ensuring project quality and safety standards meet OHS&E company requirements
* Performing short-term programming, prepare method statement compilation and produce weekly and monthly project reports
* Providing risk assessments for construction activities and facilitate JHA's and Field Leaderships
* Providing leadership and direction on WHSE matters at the project pre-start, toolbox and Client meetings
* Work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager and WHSE Manager (HO) on project-related health and safety issues and provide them with statistical reports at agreed intervals
About you:
To be successful for the Deputy Site Manager role you will have:
* Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent industry
* 5+ years' experience in the construction industry in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of full life cycle project deliverables
* Superior people management and interpersonal communications skills.
* Experience working on multiple disciplinary projects is desirable
* Schedule 26 qualification is highly desirable
*Experience delivering NPI projects across the resources sector will be highly regarded
