About the Project
The Lake Macdonald Dam, located in the Noosa hinterland, is part of the South East Queensland drinking water supply operated by Seqwater. John Holland has been awarded the contract to undertake the largest upgrade to the dam since its installation in 1965 as part of the Seqwater Dam Improvement Project. The upgrade will include, but is not limited to:
* Pre‐construction approvals, procurement and site establishment
* Lake lowering and aquatic salvage
* Installation of upstream cofferdam
* Cofferdam, spillway demolition and working platform
* Dam construction
* Reinstatement, rehabilitation and demobilisation
Job Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Senior Site Administrator to play a key role on the Lake Macdonald Dam Improvement Project. This pivotal position supports a large, site‐based delivery team and ensures the smooth running of day‐to‐day project operations. You'll take ownership of site administration functions, support leadership, and help keep the project moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate all site‐based administration functions
* Act as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, visitors, subcontractors and suppliers
* Manage project documentation, records and filing systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Lead accounts and procurement admin processes, including invoices, purchase orders and expense tracking
* Support the project team with reporting, document preparation and presentations
* Coordinate meetings, travel, site events and leadership diaries
* Provide high‐level support to the Project Manager and senior leadership team
* Maintain site office operations, including supplies, systems and facilities
* Drive continuous improvement in administrative processes and systems
What We're Looking For
* Solid experience in a Site / Project Administrator role within construction or infrastructure
* Proven ability to operate at a senior level, managing competing priorities on a busy project site
* Strong exposure to project systems, document control and financial administration
* Experience supporting senior leaders on site
Skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions‐focused mindset
* Strong systems and IT proficiency across project platforms
* Ability to work autonomously while supporting a fast‐paced team
Qualifications
* Relevant administrative experience (construction experience highly regarded)
