Azure App & Data Consultant
to deliver cutting-edge application and AI solutions across our customer base. In this role, you’ll work on modern cloud application architectures using
Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and a wide range of
Azure AI and data services
such as
OpenAI, AI Search, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, Cognitive Services, and more. You’ll collaborate with enterprise customers to design and implement solutions that unlock value through intelligent automation, secure data access, and scalable cloud-native designs. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with customers, and shaping real-world Azure solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes. Responsibilities
Collaborate with enterprise customers to design and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and event-driven or API-based architectures. Deliver cutting-edge application and AI solutions across customer base using Azure AI and data services such as OpenAI, AI Search, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, and Cognitive Services. Work on flagship Azure projects with leading public sector, banking, and enterprise customers. Engage with customers directly, gather requirements, lead workshops, and produce technical designs. Contribute to thought leadership and present at Microsoft events where appropriate. Technical Skills
Strong experience with
Azure App Services,
Azure Functions, and event-driven or API-based architectures. Hands-on knowledge of
Azure OpenAI,
Azure AI Search,
Azure Document Intelligence, and
Cognitive Services. Familiarity with
Azure Cosmos DB,
Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and
Azure Machine Learning. Ability to integrate multiple Azure data and AI services to power intelligent applications. Understanding of
cloud security,
identity (Entra ID/Azure AD), and
DevOps deployment practices. Qualified Experience & Certifications
Previous experience in consulting, solution architecture, or customer-facing technical roles. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to gather requirements, lead workshops, and produce technical designs. Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AI-102, DP-203) are desirable. Remote-first with flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia. Work on flagship Azure projects with leading public sector, banking, and enterprise customers. Collaborate with a tight-knit team of Azure experts and Microsoft MVPs. Opportunities to contribute to thought leadership and present at Microsoft events.
