The Position:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of events, ensuring seamless execution from setup to conclusion.
* Collaborate closely with the Functions Manager and Operations Manager to deliver high-profile events with precision and professionalism.
* Lead and inspire a team to exceed guest expectations, delivering exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
* Coordinate team schedules and rosters to align with event requirements, ensuring efficiency and readiness.
* Act as the primary point of contact during events, addressing guest feedback and resolving issues promptly.
* Train, mentor, and support the team, fostering a motivated and professional environment.
* Maintain a meticulous approach to event preparation, ensuring all details align with client expectations.
The Person:
* Demonstrated experience in supervising operations for large-scale events or hospitality functions.
* Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a strong eye for detail.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required by the events schedule.
* A thorough understanding of food and beverage service and event operations.
* Professional appearance and demeanour, with the confidence to interact with high-profile clients and guests.
