As a Metal Fabricator, you’ll be hands‑on fabricating, cutting, forming, and assembling aluminium and steel components used in their signage structures. You’ll work closely with the Technical team to turn drawings and specifications into high‑quality, structurally sound components—helping the organisation achieve on‑time, error‑free delivery for every project.

What You’ll Do
- Fabricate & assemble components in aluminium and steel using technical drawings and blueprints.
- Perform high‑quality MIG and TIG welding to company standards.
- Operate fabrication machinery including guillotines, brake presses, rollers, saws, drills, and shears.
- Interpret drawings accurately to meet specifications and tight tolerances.
- Inspect and verify work quality, proactively identifying and resolving defects.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring a clean, safe, and productive workspace.
- Work safely, follow WHS procedures, and uphold PPE requirements.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
- Record tasks and time in the ERP system to support workflow visibility.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience fabricating aluminium and/or steel including cutting, forming, and welding.
- Strong MIG and TIG welding capability.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Competence with fabrication machinery (press brakes, guillotines, rollers, saws, etc.).
- Solid understanding of WHS and PPE requirements.
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in signage manufacturing, light structural work, or construction.
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
- Familiarity with ERP or production tracking systems.
- Experience with thin sheet materials (panels, ducts, decorative metals).
