As a leading professional in medication delivery, you have the unique opportunity to spearhead the implementation of next-generation smart infusion technology across an entire health district.
This role requires you to collaborate with Pharmacy, IT, Clinical Governance and Biomedical Technology teams to develop governance arrangements for smart infusion devices and a district-wide smart pump library. You will also be responsible for coordinating the rollout of these devices to clinical areas within HNELHD, working closely with nursing, allied health and medical staff.
To succeed in this position, you should possess a strong background in hospital clinical pharmacy, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Bonus points are given for experience with smart pumps or implementing new technology in a hospital setting.
The successful candidate will receive orientation and ongoing support from district pharmacists and the Pharmacy Educator. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist with changes to the medication library dataset and pump configurations in collaboration with clinicians.
* A registered pharmacist with AHPRA is required.
* An experienced pharmacist with a hospital clinical pharmacy background is essential.
