Senior DesignerBendigo Advertiser invites applicants for a Senior Designer role in our Newcastle team.
This position supports our expanding engineering portfolio across resources, energy, and industrial sectors.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and improve Structural and Mechanical design drafting tools for team use.
Undertake Structural and Mechanical design tasks from concept to commissioning.
Assist in identifying new work opportunities and contribute to new project scopes and estimates.
Provide technical guidance to junior team members and ensure all work meets Australian Standards and regulations.
QualificationsDiploma in engineering or applicable drafting traineeship (or similar).
Knowledge of applicable Structural and Mechanical design standards and guidelines.
Confidence in cross-checking work submitted by junior engineers and providing constructive feedback before submission to project managers.
