About the Program


The Well Connected program aims to support individuals experiencing severe mental illness or concerns. The program focuses on addressing key areas that enable participants to participate in their communities, ultimately leading to improved quality of life and recovery from mental health issues.


A key outcome is supporting participants in identifying and nurturing natural supports that sustain recovery and aid in developing self-management skills.



Key Responsibilities



* Mentor and support team members in developing their practice, managing time, and prioritizing tasks.

* Supervise students and volunteers.

* Support Team Leaders, Program Coordinators, and Program Managers with administrative tasks.

* Take responsibility for various functions delegated.

* Lead special projects.




Essential Requirements



* Completion of a Certificate 4 in Mental Health, Certificate 4 in Mental Health Peer Work, or Certificate 4 in Community Services, or be enrolled in one of these qualifications.

* A contemporary understanding of mental health issues and recovery-oriented mental health practice.

* Capability to develop rapport and engage with people from diverse backgrounds and orientations.

* Right to work within Australia.

* Current valid Driver's Licence and ability to undertake travel.

* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.

* Satisfactory National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children's Check.
