Head of Department - Student Support (Temporary)
An exciting temporary opportunity exists for a motivated and dynamic Head of Department - Student Support to join the leadership team at MacGregor State High School until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.
About The Role
As the Head of Department - Student Support (Inclusion), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Lead the school department in developing and committing to a shared educational vision focused on achieving high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Promote socially just practices and uphold high standards for both student achievement and staff perform.ance.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with students, parents, government agencies, and community groups to support learning and wellbeing.
* Demonstrate strategic, future-focused leadership, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies affecting students and staff.
* Effectively manage human, financial, facility, and curriculum resources while engaging in ongoing professional learning to achieve departmental goals.
