HSS Teacher Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative educator to join our team as an HSS teacher.
* Motivated and passionate about teaching Humanities and Social Sciences at the secondary level, with a solid understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.
* Foster an environment where every student can reach their full potential by delivering a curriculum tailored to diverse needs.
Key requirements include holding an eligible teacher qualification and registration, being an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or having a valid visa with work rights. A WA Working with Children Check and Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check will also be required.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, contributing to shaping and promoting school values and priorities.
Bonus points for experience teaching ATAR or General HSS courses!
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
2. Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
3. Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
4. Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
