CM Drilling PTY LTD is seeking a Drillers Offsider/Trainee Driller to join our team in Perth, WA. This full‐time position is responsible for providing support to drillers/owners and learning the skills required to become a qualified driller.
What you'll be doing
* Assist drillers/owners with setting up, operating and maintaining drilling rigs and associated equipment
* Learn and develop the skills needed to safely and effectively operate drilling rigs
* Carry out general labouring duties around the drilling site
* Maintain a safe and organised work environment
* Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
* Conducting Geotechnical diamond, air and water bore drilling.
* Work ad‐hoc rosters (potential for 2/1)
What we're looking for
* Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn the skills required to become a qualified driller
* Good physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding manual labour in austere conditions.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
* Must hold an HR (Heavy Rigid) class driver's licence
* Must have full Australian working rights
* Minimum of 1 year previous drilling or mining industry experience required
