Project Delivery Professional – Melbourne
We're inviting expressions of interest from talented project delivery professionals to join our Melbourne team as we continue to expand our data centre portfolio across the region.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
* Develop working relationships, problem solving and drive projects to successful completion
* Manage the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
* Review project plans and specifications, scheduling, cost saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
* Manage project safety and environmental requirements
* Manage project timelines, risks and reporting
* Manage project budgets and advise on options to keep budget on track
* Be engaged with marketing and business development initiatives
* Co‐ordinating vendor scope with overall project delivery
* Contract Execution: Draft contract documents in strict accordance with legal approved contract templates. Work closely with project team/s to ensure effective and timely document processing and management of contract documents
* Bring strong communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Qualifications
* Technical understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure – HVAC, Electrical, Generators, Fire, Security and BMS
* Professional/tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or construction
* A minimum of 5 – 10 years project management experience, preferably gained within a Data Centre or similar technical environment
* A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project inception stage, design, authority approvals through to construction completion and post‐project review
* Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques
* Ability to thrive in a high‐pressure, fast‐paced environment
* Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regarded
* Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
* Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
