Relief Camp Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Relief Camp Manager to join our team and oversee operations at our site.
This role is FIFO from Brisbane and DIDO from Townsville, based on a 14/7 roster.
* Responsibilities:
* Oversee the management of food production, menu planning, and daily production.
* Ensure dining room services meet high standards.
* Supervise staff and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
* Develop and implement effective customer service strategies.
* Manage administrative and operational tasks.
* Liaise with the Site Manager to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
* Exceptional administrative and computer/software skills.
* Accommodation reservations systems experience (VAMS, SAMS, RMS).
* Stable and progressive management experience within a remote environment.
* A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service.
* A motivated, constructive and professional 'can-do' attitude.
* Resourcefulness, resilience, and enthusiasm.
* Adherence to food and general safety practices.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
* Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks.
* Pride in personal appearance and hygiene.
* Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity, and inclement weather.
* A manual driver's license (preferred) and forklift ticket (highly desirable).
