About the role
Play a key role in strengthening the integrity of Australia's aged care funding system. This APS 6 Risk Analyst position sits within a dynamic, nation‐wide team responsible for assurance, risk and analysis across the residential aged care sector. The role is focused on financial risk, data integrity and evidence‐based decision‐making.
Key responsibilities
* Work with complex financial and provider‐reported data, applying professional judgement to assess accuracy, identify risk and support confidence in funding outcomes.
* Engage with registered aged care providers and internal colleagues in a high‐profile policy and regulatory environment.
* Contribute to public value through structured assurance processes and evidence‐based decision‐making.
Desirable qualifications
* Finance, accounting or economics background.
* Experience in auditing, financial or data analysis.
* Knowledge of public health policy or the residential aged care system.
