The role
We are seeking passionate and qualified Certificate III Education and Care Practitioners to join our teams in Acton (Cambridge) and Midway Point.
* Education and Care Practitioner role Level 2A on our Enterprise Agreement
* Casual and Permanent Part Time roles
* Long Day Care Services
In this role you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team delivering high‑quality play‑based programs aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
In this role you will
* Uphold the safety rights and wellbeing of all children and promote a culture of child safety with a zero‑tolerance approach to child maltreatment, abuse and neglect.
* Deliver meaningful and age‑appropriate learning experiences that spark curiosity, creativity and growth.
* Actively supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
* Create welcoming, engaging and developmentally appropriate environments that encourage exploration and play.
* Document and reflect on childrens learning and development.
* Collaborate with families to build strong respectful partnerships that support continuity between home and the service.
* Commit to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.
* Work in alignment with Lady Gowrie Tasmania's policies, procedures and quality standards.

What you'll bring
* An ACECQA‑approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
* A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (child‑related activity childcare services).
* Previous experience in a similar role and dedication to child safety and inclusive practices.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Understanding of the National Quality Framework and willingness to apply the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) in everyday practice.
