About Uniting Kingscliff:
Located in the beautiful seaside suburb of Kingscliff on the NSW far north coast, Uniting Kingscliff has three separate households, each with up to 25 residents, including a secure Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia. Our Uniting Homemaker ensures that the community is thriving and doing things that are meaningful and enjoyable.

Position Overview:
As a Care Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents living in our aged care facility. Your support enables residents to retain independence and maximise their quality of life in a safe and nurturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- You’ll provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home, to help support their independence and improve their quality of life
- Providing daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and with general mobility
- Assisting with medication and simple wound dressings and
- Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing), or equivalent qualification. (Not Mandatory)
- Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Care, or if you have a passion to begin your career in aged care.
- Be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, and you will be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
- Provide a culturally safe and inclusive work environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing shifts if required.
- A genuine passion for elderly care, empathy, patience, and solid communication skills.
