About the Role

We are currently seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated person at our Hatchery located in Dunalley, Tasmania. The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of general duties across Hatchery operations.

Although relevant experience is not essential, the position requires strong observation and problem-solving skills, with hands-on precision to ensure the best outcomes in a dynamic and changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:


• Maintenance of hatchery and nursery environment and equipment.


• Grow and maintain microalgae cultures in varying systems.


• Operate to strict biosecurity protocols.


• Maintain record systems.


• Work effectively within a small, cohesive team.


• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new skills.

Skills and Experience:


• Experience within aquaculture or agriculture industry desirable.


• Knowledge of the aquaculture industry desirable.


• Practical and hands-on approach essential.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Commitment to continuous learning and growth.


• Reliability and punctuality a must.


• Current Driver's Licence.


• Full unrestricted work rights within Australia.
