Role Description
This full-time, on-site position is based in Hamilton, QLD. As the Return to Work & Health and Safety Coordinator, you will oversee workplace health and safety compliance, drive health and safety initiatives, and deliver effective safety training. You will coordinate return-to-work programs and provide necessary support to employees, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and best practices.
Qualifications
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Workplace Safety practices.
* Knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and implementing workplace safety measures effectively.
* Proficiency in Safety Training to enhance team compliance and safety awareness.
* Exceptional organizational and communication skills to maintain thorough documentation and liaise with employees and stakeholders.
* Competence in developing and administering return-to-work programs, ensuring smooth employee reintegration.
* Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements in workplace health and safety.
* Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field are highly regarded.
* Experience in a similar health and safety or return-to-work coordination role within the industrial or automotive industry is a plus.
