Role Overview

Duties and Responsibilities
* Maintain, repair, and install various types of plant equipment, vehicles, and mechanical systems.
* Oversee complex machinery installations, maintenance, commissioning, and modifications driven by hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
* Supervise apprentices or other mechanics in the area when necessary.
* Work within a structured framework with opportunities for career progression based on demonstrated skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You must possess good problem-solving and fault-diagnosis skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously. Experience in dealing with customer complaints is also essential.
* A strong foundation in automotive vehicle mechanics, particularly with heavy vehicles and plant.
* A valid Construction Industry White Card and an unrestricted motor-vehicle driver's license (Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid).
* Willingness to acquire any required licenses or tickets.
* Experience in welding and metal fabrication is highly desirable.
* Residence within a reasonable distance from your designated workplace.
