About the role – Full-time | 6-month contract based in Wayville Mon-Fri This is an opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to support community services and housing programs across a national portfolio in a purpose-driven environment. You will partner with senior and program managers, providing timely financial insight, reporting, and advice to support sound decision-making and strong financial performance.

You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modelling across assigned programs, including monthly variance analysis and ensuring compliance with funding and contractual requirements. The role also supports revenue management, debtor processes, and continuous improvement of financial systems and controls, while helping build financial capability across the organisation.

About you You are an experienced Finance Business Partner who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys working closely with non-finance stakeholders. You bring strong technical accounting skills and commercial insight, with the ability to translate financial information into clear, practical advice that supports better decision-making. You are proactive, collaborative, and confident influencing at a senior level, with a genuine interest in improving financial performance and outcomes in community-focused organisations.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

Experience in community services, housing, or similar service-based organisations (national portfolio experience highly regarded)

Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or management accounting role

Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis skills

Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling capability

Ability to engage and influence senior and operational stakeholders
