Responsibilities
* Ensure the organisation's financial resources (cost, balance sheet & capital) are allocated efficiently and returns are optimised.
* Support the Personal Banking CFO to deliver financial & commercial analysis to support day‐to‐day and longer‐term decision making.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a high‐performing team, fostering clarity of purpose, capability, and engagement.
* Lead the delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting & planning requirements for the division, acting as the key interface between the PB CFO team and Group Finance.
* Develop and implement strategies to optimise P&L and Balance Sheet management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
* Provide high‐quality, timely, and insightful analysis including but not limited to revenue & balance sheet trends, P&L & capital metrics, competitor analysis, etc. to inform decision‐making at all levels.
* Partner with Product & Distribution Finance partners to identify, evaluate, and deliver revenue & productivity initiatives.
* Act as the key interface between the division and Group Finance for all matters relating to forecasting & planning.
* Act as the key interface with the business and Treasury Capital Management for all matters relating Personal Banking performance on capital metrics and capital initiatives to reduce our RWAs, including leading the monthly Capital Forum.
* Oversee change management to ensure ongoing accuracy and timeliness of financial planning.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, decision support & insightful analysis to support commercial decision‐making.
* Ability to engage, collaborate, influence stakeholders at all levels and drive change across complex environments.
* Excellent written communication demonstrated by experience in drafting and contributing to board level presentation and reports.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Experience in leading teams and building collaborative relationships across finance and business functions.
* Relevant tertiary qualification, ideally CA/CPA qualified.
