We are seeking a proactive Government Relations Adviser to support a leading South Australian organisation in delivering high-quality ministerial and parliamentary communications.

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities while producing accurate, well-researched documentation. With strong stakeholder engagement skills, you are confident liaising with senior leaders, government offices and external stakeholders, ensuring sensitive information is handled with discretion and professionalism.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Demonstrated experience preparing complex written materials, including briefs, reports and correspondence
* Strong understanding of government, Cabinet and Parliamentary processes
* Ability to analyse and interpret detailed information to produce clear and concise documentation
* Proven experience managing multiple deadlines in high-pressure environments
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
* High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Ability to provide guidance and improve the quality of organisational documentation
* Tertiary qualifications in policy, communications or a related field (or equivalent experience)
THE ROLE
In this role, you will provide high-quality support to the Minister, Minister's Office and senior leadership through the preparation of briefings, correspondence and Cabinet materials. You will analyse information, manage documentation processes and ensure all outputs align with organisational standards and government requirements. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, coordinate responses to enquiries, and support compliance with government protocols and frameworks.
