We are seeking a customer‐focused Estimator & Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team at PLAE International in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. This full‐time role will be responsible for estimating opportunities and coordinating the purchasing of contracts under the direction of our Project Manager.
What you'll be doing
* Collaborating with our Sales Consultants on preparing sales quoting for flooring & customised equipment opportunities.
* Interface with the Sales Team on opportunities throughout the Asia Pacific region.
* Manage the procurement of materials, goods and services by liaising with supply‐chain partners.
* Prepare and monitor procurement plans.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to align purchasing activities with production and distribution requirements.
* Provide administrative support and reporting as required to the Project Manager.
What we're looking for
* Relevant tertiary qualification in estimating and/or supply chain.
* 2‐3 years' experience in similar roles.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to process improvement.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
