The role plays a key part in driving preventative maintenance strategies, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.**Key Responsibilities:*** Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities across fixed plant and mobile equipment.* Plan and oversee preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximise equipment reliability and availability.* Lead maintenance shutdowns, breakdown response, and fault-finding activities.* Manage contractors and maintenance personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.* Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.* Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and legislative requirements while promoting a strong Zero Harm culture.* Maintain accurate maintenance records, schedules, and reporting systems.* Work closely with production teams to minimise operational disruptions and optimise plant performance.**You will thrive in this role if you:*** Have demonstrated experience supervising maintenance teams within quarrying, mining, heavy industry, or a similar industrial environment.* Possess strong knowledge of fixed plant and mobile equipment maintenance practices.* Are highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Have strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.* Lead by example and are committed to maintaining high safety and operational standards.* Communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.* Are results-driven, self-motivated, and focused on equipment reliability and operational efficiency.**What We Offer:*** Competitive remuneration package.* All uniforms & PPE provided* Career development opportunities within a growing global organisation.* Supportive team environment committed to safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.**About Us:**Heidelberg Materials Australia is part of a leading global supplier of building materials and solutions.
